Established in 1902 by Italian immigrants Giuditta and Antonio Berenato, J A Berenato Farms is still owned and operated by the 5th generation of the Berenato family. Even after 117 years, the family still continues to work the land with the same traditions and passion as their ancestors before them. Whether it’s harvesting the fall apple crop, picking the ripest tomatoes, or milking the cows every morning, each generation has helped to keep the legacy of the family farm alive and well. Despite its close proximity to the Atlantic shore, J A Berenato Farms’ main products have always been fruits and vegetables. Today, the farm has over 50 acres of land dedicated to growing various fruits and vegetables for its customers. Read about Vaccarella Farm in Hammonton, NJ here.
